Diagnose with ospp.vbs
- cd "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16"
- cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus
- Look for ERROR CODE and LICENSE STATUS lines.
- 0xC004F017 → wrong key type. 0xC004C008 → activation limit reached.
Fix 1: Uninstall the bad key and let Ohook re-license
- cscript ospp.vbs /unpkey:<last 5 chars from /dstatus>
- Run KMSAuto.software → Office tab → Ohook.
- Ohook installs the correct AAA license and activates.
Fix 2: Delete the licensing token cache
- Close all Office apps.
- Delete C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Office\Licenses (entire folder).
