Troubleshooting HWID errors
If HWID returns 0xC004F074 or 0xC004C003, Microsoft's activation server is throttling — wait 5 minutes and retry. For 0x80070005, run KMSAuto as Administrator (right-click → Run as administrator). For 0x803FA067, your edition is not eligible (Enterprise/LTSC) — switch to the TSforge method instead. If you need an immediate temporary activation while Microsoft's server is unresponsive, fall back to Online KMS for a 180-day license you can later replace with HWID.
